“Portrait of a Young Woman During A Pandemic” is a piece that was created in mid 2020, at the height of the Corona Virus Pandemic. The artist felt it was important to record such a unique period of history, not only literally, but artistically. As much as art is a form of self expression, it is also a way of reaching future generations looking back on history, so they may empathize with the trials and emotions of the human beings who experienced it.
