These may either be a full-day workshop or only a half-day.

Painting Winter Landscapes
Level: All skill levels
Enjoy the wonders of a winter wonderland, cozy and warm indoors! Working indoors from photo references, we will study the principles of not just painting landscapes in general, but the unique qualities of snow scenes. Learn the common lighting and weather of winter scenes, as well as learning he techniques for painting snow and trees in the wintertime.
This class will take place on Jan 25th, from 9:30 AM - 4:30 PM (lunch break at 12:30)
Students may either bring a lunch or buy a lunch at one of the many restaurants nearby.
Materials list available below. For those who wish to rent studio materials, this is possible for a $10 fee.
Planning a Picture: Intro to Composition
Before you start painting or drawing, learn the fundamentals of planning your picture; where should your subject be positioned on the canvas? How do you make a picture interesting to look at? What colors should you use? This workshop is open to artists of all mediums and is beneficial to anyone interested in the art of picture-making. Bonus topics will include tips for taking your own reference photos, and exercises so you can compose at home.
This class will take place on Saturday, Feb 8th, from 10 AM - 1 PM

Cancelation Policy:
If the studio should be responsible for the cancelation of a class, the class will be rescheduled and the student will have the option to receive a full refund, or to apply the credits to another class.
Due to the limited availability of spaces, as well as the processing fees involved in payment methods, we cannot issue refunds for cancelations made by the students more than 48 hours after a registration. We apologize for this inconvenience, and ask that you please check the dates carefully to verify your availability before registering for a class.
