Second Solo Art Exhibition

March 2017

Dear Friends, on March 12th, 2017, I held my Second Solo Art Exhibition at the elegant Robyn Newhouse Hall in Springfield, MA
The show primarily featured works which I have created over the past two years, both independently and in my recent studies at the Florence Academy of Art, in Italy.
For those of you who were unable to attend, please view the short video above.  I've also temporarily launched a Virtual Gallery, where you can see the artworks as they were on display at the event. Graduation

June 2016

This June I officially graduated from the Florence Academy of Art. Although I still have one more to term complete my education there, I had the pleasure of walking with the 2016 graduating class. Even more exciting, I am pleased to say that at the graduation ceremony I had the honor of receiving an award. My final still-life was granted Best Still Life of the Year. This particular painting was a long and challenging project, so to have my work recognized in this way was an amazing and unreal experience.

The same weekend, my class's studio held an open house, where visitors could see the  students' workplace and the projects we've been working on for the past year. Knowing how hard everyone works on their projects, it was very fulfilling to see the work everyone puts so much time and energy into on display. As exciting as graduation is, I am certainly going to miss painting alongside this group of diligent and artistic people. I know this fall I am going to hold on to every moment of my last term. Even a year and a half later, I cannot express enough my gratitude for being able to study at this amazing place that is Florence Academy.

Art Show  & Fundraiser
Eliza was recently accepted into the world-renowned Florence Academy of Art in Florence, Italy.  To raise funds to make possible her attendance, she had her first solo art show, and conducted a Kickstarter campaign.

The art show was held on Sunday, September 21st in Robyn Newhouse Hall, at the Community Music School of Springfield, MA. See photographs of the event at the bottom of the page.

Thanks to the overwhelming generosity of friends, family, and art patrons, Eliza's Kickstarter project was successfully funded. Many thanks to everyone who made this possible!
